HELP US PROTECT COQUITLAM'S URBAN FOREST.

We are a non-partisan group of Coquitlam residents concerned that our City is losing too many mature trees due to development. Our approach is to work collaboratively to find solutions to this problem.

Tree loss is eroding the beauty and character of our neighbourhoods.

These losses are happening at a time when we need large trees more than ever to moderate the effects of climate change.

Trees create shade and privacy, mitigate heat waves, filter pollution, help control erosion and flooding, and provide habitat for birds.

We believe that every neighbourhood in Coquitlam - newer, older, or in-development - deserves the many benefits mature trees provide.

Our Vision is for Coquitlam to become a City that nurtures, protects, and celebrates mature trees and all they do to make our neighbourhoods beautiful and liveable.
